Guarantees and Insurance

GUARANTEE As members of the Guarantee Protection Trust we are able to offer insurance backing of our own long term guarantees which not only covers the materials used but also the workmanship. Many other types of backed guarantee only cover the workmanship if the actual material has broken down. We are always happy to provide clients with the information and details relating to contacts where remedial works have been carried out under the terms of the guarantee and the costs being borne by the Guarantee Protection Trust. The BBC Television program, ‘Watchdog,’ recommended that if you are having damp proof coursing works carried out then you should instruct a member of the Guarantee Protection Trust.

INSURANCE Any parts of a property which may not require treatments at the same time of out inspection can be covered by Guarantee Protection Trust insurance scheme which covers the cost of any treatments which may be necessary in the future. The cost of this type of cover is minimal and will give long term peace of mind, however, this particular scheme is only available through a member of the Guarantee Protection Trust and the British Wood Preserving and Damp Proofing Association.
